Day 5 Gotcha Day

This post is several days late, day 5 is December 20, 2010. At 2pm we boarded a bus with 2 other families and went to the Civil Affairs office.  There were many other families from different agencies there receiving their babies.  Some babies were screaming, some were quiet.  It was all chaos and picture taking.  We took pictures for the other families because Maggie was last to arrive.  But arrive she did!
Maggie never cried.  Still hasn’t at the time of this writing.
Her nannies are on the left.
We are all leaving the civil affairs office with our new daughters
We went grocery shopping.  Our guide helped us as there is no English translation on the products like in Hong Kong.  Matthew had fun playing peek a boo with Maggie.
Maggie loves her siblings already.
Big sister is awesome!

We’ve had our first bottle, first poop, first bath.  All without crying.  She loves the toy cousin Beth sent and the stacking cups.

Now we try our first night sleep.

We thank God!  We are truly blessed!

  2. Awesooooooooooooooooooooooome! We are crying like babies over here. We can't wait to see meet Maggie! That's so great. I've been praying for the transition so I'm so relieved to see it's been going so smoothly. God is SO good!!
