San Antonio Christian's Thanksgiving Feast

Matthew's school hosts a thanksgiving feast in which everyone shows up costumed either as an Indian or a Pilgrim.  Each class has a Father Indian and a Father Pilgrim who teaches about customs, games or traditions from that first Thanksgiving.  Its the only event where siblings can come, but they must be costumed.
Made Maggie's costume from a t shirt and ribbon and studs in an evening.

Matt's also from t shirt and pants from target.

We had to provide only metal or wood plates and utensils to eat with.

My costume I made years ago when Meghan did the same thing at Scofield in Dallas.

Maggie goes to CA

In September we went to California to introduce Maggie to my cousin's girls, who are also from China.

The tidepools were especially fun after breakfast on the beach.

Balboa Island is a childhood haunt of mine since my grandparents had a beach house there.  It was Maggie's first visit.

It took us a long time to walk to the car since we stopped to smell so many roses.

Never in my wildest imagination could I ever have dreamed of being blessed with these kids.  I give God thanks and Praise for these wonderful people!

Hamming for Mom

Supported only by coach's hand floating on her back!

Maggie rings the bell for moving up to a level after only 4 lessons.

First haircut!

She's been asking for weeks, so when big brother went to get a haircut Maggie got one too!

Vacationing with grandpa!

 To the beach please!
Fun in the sand with just a bucket and some minnows!

We had so much fun in the pool and at the beach.

Maggie turns 3!

Since Meghan, Maggie and myself all have May birthdays we decided to take a trip to Florida to see my Dad who also has a May birthday.

We visited the Ponce Inlet Marine Science Center where we touched sting rays.

We visited the turtle rehab section where they only had 4 turtles thankfully.

Maggie loved playing on the beach especially with the net in the sand and surf.

We visited downtown disney on her actual birthday and told her it was disneyland.

She loved the little rides.

She got a button for being a first time visitor and for her birthday.

The disney flower festival had just ended but we couldn't help but admire this beautiful fountain and its flowers.
Maggie had tons of fun and travels like a champ!
