Maggie's First Swim

Since it was 86 degrees here Saturday we went for a swim, Maggie's first.  I suspected she would love it since she loves her bath.  I was right.  She's a fish!

She gets it and very much wants to go in!

She loved motor boat motor boat go so slow.....

She also loved the speckled frog song.

She of course loves Matthew and can almost say his name!

Sieze the Moment

On Saturday morning while Shawn and I were fixing breakfast, Maggie found these shiny pink foil wrapped curiosities.  

Upon unwrapping one she discovered that these little morsels (chocolate) formerly unknown to her tasted wonderful!

If there was audio to this photo you would hear Maggie saying "Mmmmmmm!"

Max had his own opportunity to seize the moment today.

While Maggie was napping he took full advantage of the peace and quiet and warmth!

First Trip

We made our first family car trip to Dallas to see Aunt Kim and Uncle Mike and Cousins Jake Josh and Jackson.  Also, friends JD and Kay Savage.  Maggie doesn't like her car seat at all.  So it was one Baby Einstein video after another to keep away the screaming.  Brothers got a bit tired of all that and requested King Kong but soon the screaming got too loud and we went back to Baby Einstein.

Maggie loves all things water!!

Maggie loved all her cousins though she had just met them you would have thought she'd played with them all her life.

The tulips at the Dallas Arboretum were breathtaking!

Big brother John is so comforting to Maggie.

Maggie fell asleep at the end of our visit but she got to meet Kay and JD and we had lunch together.
